UK Presence expands for Netresult

Netresult’s exclusive distributor in the UK, KeyWorth, has been acquired by Clifford Thames Group, a leading edge provider of consultancy and support services for the automotive industry.

Clifford Thames Group is a SaaS software provider who came into the fleet and leasing markets in 2010, offering consultancy and support services for the OEM and Dealer Group markets. The acquisition of KeyWorth strengthens that bridge as they head into the fleet industry, and Netresult’s products are a significant part of the overall strategy for the combined business.

These companies are passionate about making their customers’ business more efficient and dynamic, and the new acquisition results in a broader solution offering help with leasing and fleet markets in the UK.

The acquisition happened on the 3rd of January 2012 and brings the strength and global position of an industry leader to KeyWorth.

Netresult’s vehicle inspection and logistics software compliments the suite of products to allow Clifford Thames Group to provide a comprehensive offering to the automotive industry in the UK and Europe.

Netresult has recently signed a five year exclusive distribution agreement with KeyWorth Automotive and Clifford Thames.

AutoCheck now available on the iPhone

Netresult’s vehicle inspection solution – AutoCheck – is the latest application to receive the iOS treatment.

The initial version provides all the core inspection functionality and can be used alongside the Windows Mobile and Web inspection versions meaning organisations can progressively migrate across.

We will be progressively adding the more detailed damage costing functions to the iPhone version over the coming months as well as a number of new features such GPS tagging within an inspection e.g. on status change or when a photo is taken.

iPad no gamble for Tabcorp

Audit results now at the fingertips of Australia's premier gambling and entertainment group. Australia’s premier gambling and entertainment group Tabcorp has transformed the efficiency of their audit processes with an iPad application.

Mobile Auditor is a customisable iPad-based application from Christchurch company Netresult Mobility. It improves efficiency around the audit process, increases accuracy and eliminates paperwork.

John Graham, Investigations Manager for Tabcorp says with Mobile Auditor they now experience better communication, flexibility and fewer errors which, as a result has increased the efficiency and accuracy of Tabcorp’s audit process.

AutoBuy now available on iPhone

Netresult is pleased to announce the release of our first iPhone application for the AutoBuy product.

AutoBuy is a mobile PDA application that provides automotive dealers with a single point of data entry for vehicles purchased for resale. AutoBuy offers dealers increased efficiency, more accurate data and improved stock turnover. At this stage the iPhone version is only available in Australia and New Zealand but will also be available for UK customers early 2011.

“The iPhone is the ideal platform for this application as the target end user is more likely to support this device than the existing Windows Mobile PDA’s” says Guy Kendall, Technical Director at Netresult Mobility. “The move into iPhone and iPad development has been an exciting challenge for the development team and will also open up new opportunities all our inspection and auditing solutions.”

Online functionality enhances customer service for NZAA

The New Zealand Automobile Association (AA) is regarded as the leading advocate for New Zealand motorists and their interests.

The organisation has been using AutoCheck for a number of years, but has recently implemented an online booking system from Netresult that allows customers to easily book pre-purchase vehicle inspections through AA’s website.

“We can now offer greater flexibility to customers. It's opened up a new avenue which allows customers to book their inspections 24/7 and it has streamlined our business,” says Sarah Campbell, AA’s Business Improvement Manager, Technical Services.

The online booking service now accounts for 20% of all appointments representing a significant cost saving through reduced call centre costs.

Leading truck rental and lease company transforms their inspection process

TR Group is a New Zealand owned and operated company employing over 100 full time staff and contractors across 10 branches located throughout New Zealand.

With over 3,000 trucks, trailers and coaches, TR Group is New Zealand's largest supplier of heavy transport equipment with services including vehicle leasing, vehicle tracking, used vehicle sales, truck washing, and vehicle rental.

TR Group inspects every vehicle at the end of a hire. They capture mileage readings and billing details as well as inspecting the level of wear and tear and checking for any damage.

TR Group’s previous inspection process was paper-based. It involved recording inspection results in carbon copy books and then manually comparing inspection results and keying details into their billing system.

TR Group implemented AutoCheck to eliminate this labour intensive process as well as drive a consistent inspection process through their branches.

“AutoCheck has a prescribed checklist so we get a consistent inspection across all vehicles. It has completely eliminated our paper processes,” says David Palmer, IT Manager, TR Group.

“Netresult has been excellent to work with. They’ve made quite a few customisations to suit our business and also helped integrate AutoCheck with our company-wide business system”.

Visibility removes growth constraints

Fast growing UK-based vehicle supermarket, The Car People, has implemented AutoCheck to support their continued expansion by providing more control over and more visibility of their vehicle buying process.

The company found that as they continued to grow, manual processes were becoming cumbersome and inconsistent and slowing them down. They had little visibility over their buying process and vehicle duplications often occurred.

They implemented AutoCheck to automate many of the tasks associated with their vehicle buying process. “Netresult immersed themselves in our business and understood our needs and then went away and configured parts of AutoCheck to completely fit what we wanted”, says Jonathan Allbones, Sales Director at The Car People.

Buyers out in the field use AutoCheck on PDAs, vehicle inspectors use it to perform vehicle checks, site mangers use the system to get an overview of vehicle inventory and buying administrators use the web interface of the system from the office to process buying documentation.

“Having a dynamic list is the biggest benefit. We have much more visibility over the entire process and don’t have to re-key or manually process anything.”
