In 2002 Ford relaunched their classic Thunderbird and it was named USA car of the year, while a smart little software company called Netresult was born in Christchurch, New Zealand. The Thunderbird was a spectacular failure and Ford stopped production after three years, while Netresult turns 10 today and is still going strong.
Starting out as a small software development company on 24th July 2002 Netresult Mobility (formerly Turners Netresult) rapidly secured a place providing innovative and efficient solutions to the automotive industry throughout New Zealand. Our initial focus was on custom software development especially for Turners Auctions, developing a new auction management system, but it soon became clear our long term direction needed to be in the development of software applications.
10 Years on our strategic focus is very much on automotive inspection applications, especially on the iPhone platform. Netresult has five applications in the Apple App Store and a growing customer base across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.
Thank you to all of our dedicated clients, who really know how to use technology to ‘drive’ their businesses faster, and everyone that has been a part of the last 10 years. We are looking forward to the next 10 with a lot of new exiting developments to come, and a rosier future than the poor old Ford Thunderbird.
